About Trey Gulledge

Trey is a tax lien industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience originating and servicing tax lien receivables. He currently serves as President of BG48 and the Tax Brake family of companies, and previously held the role of President and CEO of TaxEase. Over the course of his career, Trey has originated more than $1 billion in tax receivable assets across 19 states. He spent over 15 years at TaxEase, where he played a key role in building and scaling the company’s tax receivable platform across multiple revenue channels. During his tenure, he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Trey is an active leader within the National Tax Lien Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors and has previously held the roles of President and Vice President. He is also deeply involved in the organization’s initiatives, serving as Chairman of the Education Committee and contributing to the Legislative Committee. In addition, he is a former Chairman of the NTLA Foundation. He holds an MBA from Baylor University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a football letterman and a member of the track team. Trey is also a licensed loan officer and a Certified Tax Lien Professional®.
