The National Tax Lien Association (NTLA) announces venue and dates for the NTLA 2019 Fall Symposium

Intensive one-and-a-half-day program, themed ‘Together Towards Tomorrow,’ to be held in historic Charleston, SC

JUPITER, FL, April 25, 2019 —The National Tax Lien Association (NTLA) is pleased to announce that the NTLA 2019 Fall Symposium will be held October 16-17, 2019, at The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel in downtown Charleston, SC.

“We’re pleased to host our ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’ Symposium in such a vibrant city that has experienced great growth,” said Brad Westover, NTLA Executive Director. “It is symbolic that our event is taking place in a city with such a rich and storied history. The NTLA will celebrate 22 years of gathering tax investing professionals with America’s Tax Collectors and Treasurers,” Westover continued. “Together we can and will make a difference.”

Every year, attendees "give back" by renovating a home and paying off property tax obligations for some qualified hardship candidate. “The NTLA represents the largest gathering of tax investors who provide cash to local governments and as needed restore vacant and abandoned properties to the active tax rolls through property renovations,” Westover said.

The educational tracks are currently being constructed around the following issues: the benefits of tax lien sales for America’s counties and municipalities; restoring vacant and abandoned property; balancing property ownership rights with tax enforcement policy; and more to come.

Registration for the NTLA 2019 Fall Symposium will be open soon. In the meantime, please save the date and mark your calendars!
