In preparation for a sale, an outside vendor drafts a list that later is culled by the county’s Tax Commissioner’s Office. Property owners who owe taxes and are on repayment plans are then removed from the list, Andrews said.

Initially, 91 lots were advertised for Tuesday’s sale. The owners of 38 properties set up payment plans after being notified of the auction, she said.
